I came across an article a few months ago about some of the dirtiest things in your house, that you may not expect. I was so surprised to see your hairbrush on the list. Now that I think about it, it makes sense, but I never really thought about it as I used mine multiple times a day. If I’m honest, outside of pulling out trapped hair every once in a while, I wasn’t doing anything else to clean them. (GROSS, I know!)
How to clean your hairbrush (and why you NEED to do it!)

Why should you clean your hairbrush?
Your hairbrush has a buildup of dead skin cells, lint, dust, natural oils, product, and in some cases even dust mites! That buildup can be a breading ground for yeast and bacteria!
You don’t want to brush all of that “gunk” back into your hair! Your clean hair will actually look greasier, and more weighed down by using a dirty brush.
How to clean your hairbrush
Once a Week…
Remove any trapped hair. For hair that your can’t simply pull out, use scissors or a comb to pull it out. (Or you can buy a special tool meant for getting trapped hair out of brushes – you can find these for cheap on Amazon.)
Once a Month…
Wash your brush. How you wash your brush will depend on the type of brush you have.

Do not over-saturate your brush with the cleaning mixture. (Especially if your brush has a squishy base as it may be more susceptible to mildew growth.)

Office, apartment or country house – cleanliness is important everywhere. Cleaning companies offer flexible cleaning schedules – from a one-off visit to regular maintenance. You can check cleaning services in Mountlake Terrace wa. This is convenient for both business and private clients, because a well-maintained room creates a pleasant atmosphere and improves well-being.
I never thought much about hairbrush care either, but it does make a difference when you remember how much oil, product, and loose skin can build up in something you run through your hair all the time. That same attention to the scalp is why Scalp Nation caught my eye. I tend to trust hair loss work more when it comes from someone who takes scalp health seriously instead of treating it like a quick cosmetic fix.
I never realized how much buildup a hairbrush can collect. Simple cleaning habits really make sense for daily hygiene. On a slightly different note, I’ve also been paying more attention to overall self care lately and started using supplements from Kollagen Institut Kollagenprodukte. I bought collagen from Kollagen Institut and I like the quality, it fits easily into my routine without feeling forced.
