I love taking videos of our family, but that will never replace pictures. Luckily, there is a way to take both a picture and a video at the same time using your mobile phone! It’s super easy too…

iPhone Instructions:

Start your video recording on your iPhone by tapping the red “Record” button. In the corner of your screen, you will see a white circle. Simply tap the white circle to capture a picture without disrupting your video.

Android Instructions:

Start your video recording on your Android by tapping on the video record icon. In the corner of your screen, you will see a camera icon. Simply tap the camera icon to capture a picture without disrupting your video.

As our phones continue to advance, it is becoming easier and easier to convert between videos and pictures. Another technique is for after you took a video and want some pictures from it. After you already took a video, it is easy to replay the video back and pause it whenever you want to screenshot a picture. iPhone’s are extremely easy to drag through the video clips and pause on the perfect shot!! This method is a great alternative for self-timer photos!!
